Sarah joined API in 2020 bringing with her over 20 years accounting and payroll experience.  Sarah’s career in accounting started with a small project she was given while working as a receptionist for a HVAC company.  Armed with a love of numbers and attention to detail, she went back to school at night and obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.  Prior to joining API, Sarah worked in Property Management and Real Estate Development.

Sarah credits the mentors she had along the way for helping her succeed.  She believes strong work relationships are built by collaborating and sharing knowledge and she brings her collaborative spirit to her work with API.

Sarah lives in Virginia Beach, VA with her husband (Kevin), dog (Cooper) and 3 cats (Maximus, Peanut and Little Lu).  She loves to take cruises and travel.  Her love of British history has taken her to England, Scotland, and Ireland.  Her dream vacation is to see the pyramids in Egypt.
